I've seen two Dr's here who were both professional and resolved my ongoing problems, they were personable, professional and saw me a lot quicker than my NHS doctor. Sure you have to pay for such a service, but who wants to wait 3-4 weeks when in such pain/discomfort. Money well spent in my humble opinion.

This 1star feedback is given to Circle Bath Pharmacy. I would not recommend anyone buy medicine from Circle Bath Pharmacy. If you do, please use card payment, but not pay by cash. The medicine I purchased on early of April at Circle Bath Pharmacy was paid on the same day at the reception of Circle Bath. The medicine cost was £11.17 and I paid for it £11.17 by cash. Luckily I keep the cash receipt. Then I received an outstanding balance invoice request me to pay for the medicine £8.2. I scanned and posted the copy of cash receipt proof and prescription package (with my name and address) to Circle Bath. They never answer me. Later, I received the same invoice again, I called the Circle Bath and request they investigate the case, again, they never answer me. My questions are: !.) Why I received the invoice for prescription which was already been paid? 2.) Why the Circle Bath Pharmacy overcharged me £11.17 which the medicine actually cost £8.2? They should refund to me. I hope the Circle Bath look at this feedback and answer my questions. This is so disappointed and cost me time to point out their mistake!

1/ 5

I’ve just got off the phone with the receptionist and once again Circle Bath have cancelled my appointment. The first one was cancelled due to the ill health of the consultant which I was upset about (as this is a crucially important follow up) but accepted it because I understand people get ill. I had an appointment re-booked, when I checked my calendar and realised it was on a Saturday I rang up Circle bath, over a week before the appointment, to confirm. I said I realised it was a Saturday and was that correct and they said yes and confirmed the time. They said that these clinics are commonly done on Saturdays. Then suddenly 2 days before my appointment is due they ring up to cancel and say the consultant doesn’t work on a Saturday and that it was human error. I’m so so upset about this, I’ve been waiting so long for this appointment with the stress and pressure that a follow up entails and now it is cancelled again. I don’t want to think it’s because I’ve been referred by the NHS but I can’t imagine they would treat a private patient this way. If you are given the option please please don’t be referred here, you won’t be seen on time and the stress isn’t worth it. Go to the RUH or anywhere else.

Circle bath cancelled my Saturday appointment with out any reason, it’s Monday, asked if I could come in Wednesday morning, less than 2 days notice, I already had a appointment Wednesday afternoon for ct scan the Saturday appointment was supposed to be the follow up to that so makes no sense having the follow up before the scan, they did not realise so obviously never checked records, Ok that’s fine can you rebook the Saturday appointment for any available Saturday, the receptionist Abbi said no, I have to be flexible and come when they say, even though I never cancelled the appointment and circle bath did, so who’s in the wrong, I have had two previous appointments on Saturdays so I know the clinics run on a Saturday as the consultant told me so, also the original booking team told me so, spoke to another lady who put the phone down on me said I was raising my voice, I find this hospital very awkward to get anything done, the original consultant was great but his secretary is never available, never answers the phone and leaves a message on her answer phone telling you not to leave a message and call another number, her colleague who then says it’s nothing to do with her. Where is the flexibility in this. They Lost my notes for ct scan appointment so had to check with consultant who told me to book it, originally when I tried to book they said they were under staffed and had no appointments available, the consultants secretary has been off on many occasions so previously have never been able to get through to her but did managed to get appointments sorted with booking team or who ever done it but they were really helpful, overall the set up seems very poor and appointments are cancelled at the last minute and then they tell you to be flexible as they can’t book appointments and are only given them. I work so can not just take days off with 1 or 2 days notice, secretaries words were if you want to get it sorted be more flexible, As for ct scan there is no area for children to sit and wait and they can not come in the room so I made arrangements for them to be looked after for half day, then to be told could I wait around all day and I might get seen by consultant after if he can fit me in, this is very difficult as I have already paid for the half day child care. They did not care, more or less just put the phone down on me. Disgusting customer service at this hospital. If your nhs they treat you very poor. Overall The consultant I seen was good even though he advised me to take medication and I am still taking with no follow up as of yet, the booking team who I eventually got to sort out original appointment were good but the consultants secretary and colleague were rude and totally unhelpful, unprofessional and never checked my notes and made me feel that I should be doing more to get seen even though they cancelled the appointments. This is my experience with circle bath so am only leaving feedback based on my experience. UPDATE,,Following my complaint, circle bath did not accept my complaint and brushed it under the carpet, also my follow up appointment was with a different consultant who said their was no more they could do, I am now referred to south mead hospital Bristol who have been excellent, I also had to ask consultant at circle bath who I seen on follow up appointment if the medication the previous consultant put me on was working as this was part of the reason for my follow up, he said oh yeah I better check, then pretended to do a ultra sound, using no gel that took about 15 seconds and and said yes seems to be, keep on taking, all in all the follow up after my complaint and overall response to my initial complaint was very poor standard, much better service from southmead hospital, no rude staff and very understanding, I would not recommend circle bath to anyone wanting to be treated under nhs who might need to complain, if you do they will cover it up, respond with a load of lies and pretend they have followed procedures.

5/ 5

I had an exceptional experience at Sulis Hospital where I was admitted for day surgery as an NHS patient. Every single staff member was kind, attentive and helpful - nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I also appreciated that I was involved in every single aspect of my care, so I knew exactly what would happen in the operating room and what I could expect for my recovery. This made a scary day so much easier. I was treated with nothing but respect and dignity, and I feel totally confident that I got the best possible care. A big thank you to the team!
