If I was reviewing the takeaway it would easily be 4 star. However the sit in restaurant is a real let down. The food is good as obviously it is the same as the takeaway. The main problem is that it is way overpriced. Mains are 4-5 pounds more expensive than the takeaway prices. Also they seemed to be short on plates. 2 of the 3 of us got plates (I saw a waitress cleaning seconds before they were brought out) while the 3 just had a bowl. So, avoid the restaurant and stick to the takeaway.

In short, We were disappointed. The food tasted great. However, the staff were unpleasant. The seating was downstairs at a table with a dirty food splashed wall, badly cracked leather seats that looked like they had been found at the bins. Wasn't a nice place to take your Fiancée, I thought it would have been great as the reviews seemed to show it that way. I had to keep asking for things like soya sauce, salt, chopsticks, straws... not once did they ask if our food was okay or if we need anything else. I was asking for the bill with the card machine and they told me it was cash only. Which I think should have been made clear upon arrival. There was a cash only sign but was hard to spot it for the mess of the place. They only reason we stayed was out of hunger. Some the reviews stated that it was reasonably priced also, however £24 for a small plate of chicken oyster sauce, fried rice, chips and spring rolls with two cokes - I could get at my local Chinese takeaway for £12-£14 and the portion size would have been much bigger. We didn't even receive complimentary prawn crackers!! I hope this review will help peoples decision. Lastly I thought that maybe they're just having a bad day and before leaving I told the woman that it was a delicious meal and thank you out of politeness, she just looked at me and said "ok thank you" very quickly. Like she didn't care very much. They need to work on the cleanliness of the restaurant, the overall customer experience, and perhaps just being a bit more thoughtful.

Bought a classic chicken curry at 9:30pm this evening. The I get home and the curry tasted sour. Clearly something off. I call straight back and they have closed early. Not impressed. Dinner ruined Usually a good take away. Just baffled how you get a standard curry so bad. Both my wife and I tasted. I’ll keep and take back tomorrow let them taste their own food. Shocked how bad.
