Smashing place, a nice sized community library, in a historic building. The staff are most helpful.

Staff are friendly, there is a good mix of information provided by Chorlton Library, a Heritage Listed building that recently underwent renovations. The back of the library is also accessible on certain days to see your councillor and MP.

Books books books... If you like a book you'll love a library

Pretty small and not well stocked. Usually full of kids, not a quiet library.

There's lots of interesting things happening at the library. I went to a very interesting Buddhist lecture. They meet twice a month and are a very welcoming bunch.

I couldn't access the Internet, last time when I visited! Therefore was an embarrassing situation, but overall attention from the staffs is great 👍

This place is useless if you need to print projects. You have to book in a computer in advance even if u want to use it for 5 minutes only. Here's a suggestion to the manager, have one computer available just for printing (perhaps the one in the corner near the printer, if it's too tight, then move it to another place). It took me over 1h to get my 6 pages printed. Had to book and wait. Please do consider having one computer only for printing, that would be helpful for us (saying us because I have noticed someone else that also checked in for printing and ended up leaving without printing).

We live very close to Arcadia Library in Levenshulme, but being elderly, prefer going to Chorlton Library, where the staff are always very helpful. Can anybory update the position re: The re-opening.Perhaps for the ages 18+????? Screen round the central part, security staff on door.Perhaps 10 at a time allowed in. Masks and gloves to be worn.
