In the first few months of moving back to Manchester I had a lot of problems with my Very old car! The best work and nicest guys I’ve experienced! For example I’ve had a recurring Coolant leak since I purchased the car 6 years ago and it had previously been “fixed” before to no avail. After going to Chorlton cars they have PERMENANTLY fixed the problem! I couldn’t be happier with the quality of work from this place! Honestly can’t reccomend these guys enough! So friendly and do a great job :)

Thought there would be security in buying a car from a reputable local garage, but sadly the owner lived up to every used car dealer cliche going. Literally had a personality transplant the second his tax-free bank notes were in his back pocket. I broke down two weeks after purchase when on holiday with my family in Wales, and he didn't offer any kind of goodwill gesture to contribute to repairs in spite of being under guarantee for a month. Beware . . . .

Used a few times for MOT and other work. Always honest and fair prices.

Had my clutch replaced today at Chorlton Cars. Phoned yesterday afternoon, got a competitive quote and took it in this morning. Friendly, helpful and thorough staff. I would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent. I have had my service and MOT done the last two years and had another couple of enquiries and dealings with them. I have found them to be very friendly and totally honest. Their work is of a high standard and no unpleasant surprises with the bills. The best mechanic I have ever dealt with.

AVOID!!Car almost caught fire!! Bought car £1300, delivered on truck, almost set on fire with children in back on first trip. Series of lies about it being in Renault, Citoren etc., returned a week later without Renault etc. reports, still broke, diagnosed problem had changed 3 times. Car collected without notice early Sunday morning, not given time to remove belongings such as debit card as tow truck driver in a rush, Lee promised a refund. Left in tears. No refund appeared. Owner Roger verbally abusive, name calling, "ignorant" and similar for asking for a refund when he had family problems, then refusing to speak to me. Paid roger for tax, no receipt, cannot claim back as I did not receive a log book. To top it all off, he charged me £80 for the tow truck, no receipt, and denied all knowledge of a truck! Currently with police regarding log book, and small claims court.

Bought a Vauxhall Astra from here today, saw it online and I needed a car ASAP, they were friendly and I asked for a video call when I saw it and they called me when they said they would. Gave it a full MOT and service ready for me to have it delivered to me personally! Car drives well and it is clean and tidy! They also informed me of the little damage that was on it, with out me even asking! The delivery driver delivered it to my home address even though I asked for it to be delivered to my work, the owner even transferred me money and told me to get a taxi on them home, and apologised for the mistake! They didn’t need to do that, and a lot of people wouldn’t of done that! I would recommend
