Purchased a brand new Bremont watch from Chisholm Hunter and after waiting just over a week for it to be brought into store from another store, I went to collect it. The bezel was dented, the strap was not brand new either, it was clearly worn with indentations where it had been fastened around someone elses wrist! When I brought this up with the sales staff (whilst by this time being clearly annoyed) I was advised it was a sale price and as such it was an ex-display watch! They could get me a new one ordered but it would not be at the sale price, it would be at the full RRP of £4,500! Hold on am I missing something here....I was sold a brand new watch and at no point advised it would be ex display/damaged or indeed pre-owned as this one looked like. I am appalled at not only the audacity of the staff in this store but also the way in which I was simply advised "sorry" about the whole situation. I should have stood there and demanded they order me a brand new one into store but what was the point really. It would only have been another complete and utter waste of my time. If it was not for the fact that I have a credit on account that needs spent within a year I would certainly never be purchasing anything from here again. I unfortunately have to purchase something at some point from Chisholm, Hunter/Barclays group but I will 100% never be stepping foot in this store again. Disgusted not only by everything explained above but also in the way it was not really a concern to any of them. I think I was just expected to accept a worn looking and damaged watch that costs thousands of pounds!! My whole experience with this was so utterly laughable.

I have found my new 'go to' jewellers, excellent friendly service from start to finish - great attention from Emma, Maureen(manager) and the rest of the staff who were more than happy to interact with the decision making. Absolutely love my new Bremont watch, and it won't be the last!

Amazing service by Henry! He is so lovely to us and helped us pick up a few different meaningful pieces of jewellery including our wedding bands and bridal earrings. Thw manager was also so nice to us and accommodating. We had our baby daughter with us who was only a newborn at the time and all of the staff in the shop were kind to us and supportive even when our baby was crying (a lot!). Great experience, thank you all x

I bought a watch today Wed 21st July and the assistant was Holly, who was first class. I was really in two minds on which one to buy (it was between two watches) after returning with a friend, Holly was very attentive and patient, and gave me great advice. Overall a very pleasant experience and I will return to Chisholm Hunter for any future purchases. Thank you to all staff. Barry Sneddon.
