Chesterton Dental Surgery cambridge

So I had a routine NHS examination and the dentist found a crack in my large filling. The team scheduled a longer appointment, which happens to be for the following week (today), either I got very lucky, or they manage to keep some spare time for urgent work. I was even more impressed 1) the dentist appeared to be injured (ankle), but she still came to work 2) The filling was very difficult and technical (close to the nerve), but she risked it (while 90% of UK dentist will say: "you have to remove the tooth") 3) Despite being late for her next appointment, she calmly took the time to get it right. I felt sorry for her, because the next patient was moaning that she was 30 min late. So if you are looking for a reliable dentist, you found the right place.

Used to be great, but has really gone downhill in the last couple of years, especially with the departure of Dr Lategan. Always looks like it's in a state of repair, plus I'd even received a fine from the nhs stating that I hadn't paid for a treatment when I had, so that needed sorting out which was a pain. I assume that they had hoped to take payment from me as well as the nhs, which if so is fraud. Another problem was repeated cancelled appointments, with follow up options being months later. Hopefully they'll get their act together before it's too late.

Reception team were friendly and professional. Dentist and dental assistant were also friendly and professional. Dentist spent time explaining and highlighting current issues with teeth. Only downside was the slight pushiness on the benefits of the £500 filling over less pricy options...

Best dentist ever. I’m terrified of needles and usually hate going to the dentist all together but it was a completely pain free, comfortable and very quick experience. All the staff are really friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you to the whole Together team!

I was in and out within 30 minutes of my appointment.Dentist explain what he was doing in in the beginning but seems to be very impatient,he quickly injected me with the local and proceeded to inject other needles within seconds which was very painful.The first wisdom tooth extracted was extremely uncomfortable the second not so much. He showed me my wisdom tooth and then turned around with his back facing and not even a word. I only wish the doctor had talked with me more specifically after the extraction (explain to me what I can and cannot eat or drink)instead of just being given a paper with some information on and a little bit of gauze by the assistant,who was very lovely. Sheida is a first class Dentist. She is professional, kind and caring which is particularly important to me as l am an anxious patient. Her dentistry is second to none.

I was referred to Together Dental by my regular practice to have my wisdom teeth removed - a procedure I had put off for 15 years due to fear. I now wish I had gone for it much, much sooner. I was in the chair for a total of about 10 minutes and felt minimal discomfort. The team were friendly, welcoming and very professional. Highly recommended!

I actually enjoy visits to my dentist, Gisella Munoz, who, as well as being an excellent Dental Surgeon, is the kindest and sweetest of ladies. Her assistants and support staff also are all friendly and welcoming. Although I receive sufficient Benefit to be exempt from paying for treatment, I'm made to feel like a Very Important Patient.
