Chesterton Carpets cambridge

Website says they will uplift old carpets and take them away. Was told to lift old carpet myself before fitters arrived, and fitters just dumped it outside my door. Rang and was told I would have to pay for removal. Should have shopped around because realised paid far too much and fitting was extra. Not recommend.

I'm so happy I chose this company! They are professional, friendly and helpful. We had very limited time to change the carpet at the end of a tenancy and they were able to organise everything (from taking the measurements for free, ordering the carpet to actual fitting) within a week. Every member of the staff I talked to or met was super helpful, doing their absolute best. The price was more than affordable, easy payment and the new carpet looks just brilliant! I will definitely use them again!

We approached Chesterton Carpets when our original vendor (a self-employed fitter) could not keep his commitment. From then on it was a no-fuss process: wood recommended, date committed and project allocated to a competent and punctual team. A fantastic service from Jordan and his team! My 88 year old dad needed a new carpet for his front room; he was very certain that the new carpet had to be green … after a short wait for the exact colour to arrive in stock, the two carpet fitters did a lovely job for him moving furniture and fitting new underlay and carpet, and it all looks beautiful. I highly recommend Chesterton Carpets, and we send them our grateful thanks for their personal, efficient and professional service.

Bought carpet for throughout the house. Excellent selection of carpet re price/ colour. Excellent customer service. Pricing and fitting times much more competitive/ quicker than major retail suppliers. Some delay with getting the carpet from the manufacturer, a risk you take when using a smaller supplier who cannot hold stock, and easily offset by all the above. I'll be using again in the future.

Excellent service and results. Jordan and all the people working in the shop are extremely helpful. They sell good quality flooring and do their best to accommodate your needs and tastes. Their installers are also very competent and skilled. I definitely recommend this company to all.

Very happy with service. The fitters were very friendly and worked hard to get the job done in stages. As a retail store in King Street we needed the work completed over a period of time and this was no problem. Fair price and very happy with the job overall
