A really good day out, some of the viewing points were slightly over grown making it hard to see some of the animals. Some water refill points would be great to save having to carry around loads of bottles of water.

Nice to see things seem to have recovered okay from recent fire. As one might expect there's always a hassle with other people thinking their kids entitle them to forget half decent manners, however very good and informative set up, even managed to see the jaguar for the first time!

An amazing place for a full day out. Literally gourmet quality food served at eateries. Good spread of animals and detailed information displayed. Courteous staff and clean facilities. My 2 less than 10 years had a fun filled day with tons of memories and pictures. An absolute must visit for anyone visiting the area. Actually worth coming to this area for the Chester Zoo.

Absolutely loved this Zoo wonderful day out. We couldn't see everything so a good excuse to come back again. My daughter bought me a bat experience which we loved and the keeper Megan was amazing, she made our experience so interesting with her wide knowledge of bats

I specifically wanted to leave a great review for the Chester Zoo Gift Shop team. I visited in Sept 2021 and purchased an acrylic piece of wall art as a souvenir. After a month of trying to find the perfect location for said souvenir, I was taking off the plastic protective film, when I dropped the fragile item on the kitchen floor and it broke off the front leg. :o'( I could have cried, as I loved the souvenir SO much. I was clutching at straws and emailed the Gift Shop on the off-chance that they might have another one, but didn't hold much hope, as the one I had purchased had been the last on the shop floor that day. To my surprise and delight, a team member called me back to say they DID have more and they were able to post it out to me. This was honestly outstanding service! We live a 3 hour drive from Chester, so popping back wasn't really an option (although I was so sad, my husband had said we could have another trip). :o) Exceptional customer service! Thank you so much!! Just shows, it's always worth an ask. Turned out it wasn't a very unusual request, as they have people get in touch that want to purchase an item as a surprise and don't want to purchase in front of that person, or a child will lose their favourite toy from the Zoo etc. Worth keeping in mind if you purchase anything from the shop and anything happens to it! (Of course, I also had an amazing time at the actual zoo with my friends too!)

I had a lovely day at Chester Zoo with our two daughters, We watched the Otters being fed and the Penguins too, we went on a boat ride it was nice and relaxing. We saw Elephants, Giraffes, Orangutans, too many animals to remember. We had a great day at Chester Zoo, there's plenty of places to eat and drink or you can just take a picnic with you and eat outside. Especially if it's a lovely sunny day. Chester Zoo is a great day out for all the family. Even though some of the animals were hiding, but we still had a great time.

The zoo has great attractions and lots to do, especially for kids and staff were very friendly helpful and often went out of there way to talk to us do, I really enjoyed seeing the variety of animals however I was disappointed due to the fact that me and my partner drove 4 hours to see the zoo for my birthday we arrived at 10:30 and left at 5 so plenty of time but spent a lot of the time going back on enclosures and attractions that we had already seen due to bad sign posting. I feel like there needs to be more signs and some disposable maps, which we were told they no longer do, I had the app but when using my phone for photos and the app the battery runs low very quickly and we struggled to find the big maps around the zoo, I missed out on some of the animals I would have loved to have seen On a side note though, me and my partner adore red pandas and after finding out Chester had them we had to visit as I believe many others would, but in the gift shop there is only one red panda teddy and it does not resemble the actual animal it looks like a fox However altogether the day was a great
