Admittedly I only went here to get my blood taken, but both the Receptionist and the Nurse were friendly and efficient and I felt welcomed and well-treated. Thought I should offer a positive alternative to some of the other reviews!

1/ 5

They lost the forms I submitted when registering as a new patient and I had to wait a very long time until I could have a consultation with a GP. While the registration was sorted out after several phone calls and a long wait, they still failed to create an online access for me so I have been unable to use platforms such as the NHS app since I became their patient. They repeatedly refused to do it for me and they even called me to lecture me when I emailed them for a solution. When it came to consultations with GPs, I also had poor experience. For example, despite having a recent diagnosis of a specific condition from a specialist from the local hospital, the GP refused to issue a prescription for me. Instead, she asked me a series of questions for 15+ minutes just to finally conclude that she does not have experience so I should not expect any help from her. The only positive experience I have had is when my appointment request was forwarded to an out-of-hours GP who listened to me carefully and successfully cured the infection which the GP of the Cherry Hinton Branch Surgery had ignored earlier, probably because she failed to show up at the surgery when she was supposed to and the receptionist had to chase her for a while, and when I was finally seen, it was a rush. The short opening hours of the surgery is just an extra reason why no one should want to be a patient here.
