Highly recommend. It's a lovely little farm. The animals are very gentle to feed. The play park is amazing with sandpits, water play for smaller childrens and a great trim trail for older children.

Very good day out lots to do excellent for young children I'd say up to 6 years, great playground for younger and older children but the farmyard itself is quite small. We took a picnic and ate on the benches near the pigs ( the chickens tried to pinch our lunch 🤣 much to the delight of our one year old). There was talks and small animal holding, id suggest taking spare clothes/rain suit wellies for sand and water play in the adventure playground.

Great family day out at the Chatsworth House. The kids really enjoyed petting goats, horses, cows, pigs and many more farm animals. FeediNg the animals was super fun and we kept on purchase feeds for the animals. Love the wash areas everywhere keeping the kiddies hands clean and safe ;-) Craft barn was a treat for the kids they enjoyed making bird feeder, arts and crafts and many more activities. Play area was a treat with endless climbing fun on the jungle gym and gorilla ropes. Slides and castles to climb was super fun and challenging. The fly fox was also a huge treat for little ones zooming down the play area lmao. There was also a climbing wall. Social distancing rules were applied well and loads of washing area again keeping everyone safe.

Only went for a walk on the grounds, didn't go to the barnyard, house or gardens. Had a lovely walk, there are acres and acres of land to wonder around, with lots of interesting finds like the viaduct and lots of little treasures. My 2 boys 13 and 10 enjoyed it too.

Loads to do for young kids. The booking system helps spread of the visitors as it can feel often busy on a pre-covid day. No handling or the smaller animals is now taking place but apart from that it feels normal

Visited the market, house and illuminated gardens. Fantastic day. The market was better than ever- such a wide variety of stalls. It was wonderful to see parts of the previous 20 years Christmas displays in the house. The illuminated gardens were magical. All the Chatsworth staff are amazing - those in the house and shops. So friendly and helpful. What a great team. Looking forward to next year already!

From the very first moment we were greeted by one of the Chatsworth team we knew our visit would be lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. From the car park, farm yard, court yard coffee stand down to the meet and greet house staff, they all took the time out to have a little chat. An unexpected fly over by some RAF helicopters was welcomed as well as the sun shining for the duration of our visit. All made for an unforgettable day. Thank you to all the Chatsworth team..we will be bk.x

A lovely farm and well worth the money. I just wasn't happy about the very easy and dangerous access to a stream in the playground. My child was in it very quickly after I had turned to give my other child attention. It requires a safety fence or gate. Bring a spare pare of clothes or head to toe waterproofs for your kids as the playground includes wet play.

We didn't visited ,the Children playground, but we can assure you Chatsworth house and gardens which we visited so many times is fabulous and there is always something you can remember for life time, this place is fantastic to visit any time of the year, it's offer tasty farm food, and shopping of Chatsworth souvenirs plus long walkways around, most of day's with sunshine, plus walk on river side, and if you lucky enough you can meet Deer Which you see from distance, but close enough to take nice photos,we love Chatsworth surrounding area so much and if we can we liked to spend time around. We Highly recommend to everyone who is looking for peaceful and relaxing weekend.
