Charcoals glasgow

We visited yesterday on the off chance for a table. We were delighted to be welcomed in. Very friendly staff, Fantastic food and very reasonable prices not to mention excellent location for nearby bars... Will definitely be back...

Another positive experience. Decent service, super tasty food - occasional extras brought to the table during the meal. Huge, quality variety at a decent price.

It’s been almost a year since I returned to Charcoals - my favourite restaurant. The food is even better than before and that should be impossible. A wonderful dining experience for my friend and I and we hope to return very soon. Excellent!

I usually swear by Chaakoo for a good curry in Glasgow. My partner wanted to try Charcoals as something different and I was not disappointed! Beautiful authentic curry, not over loaded with sugar or mango chutney which is hard to come by! Amazing welcoming staff, go over and above to ensure you have the best experience. Very small restaurant, gives a cozy atmosphere and intimate. People who eat here are very diverse, from couples to businessmen. Pakora was amazing!

Great food and staff. Big plus is that these guys give up their own tips in order to provide meals to the homeless. Very selfless act and an example to all. Will be dining here whenever I get the chance

Had lunch at charcoals today Service staff . Fantastic Food Fantastic Cost Fantastic Best Indian food I've had in ages Portions we're massive. And piping hot Waiter really friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much This is the best Indian restaurant in Glasgow. We loved it

Good service, nice food, asked for an extra bit of spice in the curry and it was great- very tasty. Only thing was they added a “service charge” onto the bill which is very sneaky as people usually tip anyway. It was only three people. Not something I think people in Scotland especially Glasgow like seeing in restaurants.

Worst customer service ever. The guy at door ruined the whole experience before even ordering food and moreover food was not worth the price I was paying. Would not recommend

Went this evening with my son (as an alternative to the postponed Genesis concert at the SSE Hydro!). Food was excellent and plentiful, service was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Very very good restaurant. Menu covers all the bases and the food is excellent. The staff are very helpful and the service was great. For a city centre venue, the prices were reasonable. Booking is essential and check out all the awards on the walls. More than worth a visit.
