SUMMARY: if you want amazing treatments, this is the place to go. If you like spending your time chilling by the pool and food is really important to the quality of your stay, then maybe it isn't for you. The longer version: My wife and I stayed here a few weeks ago and I've held back leaving a review but I feel I need to. Firstly, the positives: I had a deep tissue massage with Beth which was amazing. Having previously trained as a soft tissue therapist, I've also had a LOT of treatments from a lot of therapists and this was one of the best I've ever had. My wife also had a treatment and had nothing but positive words to say too, so on the treatment side alone, I would have given this 5 stars. Our room in the main mansion House was nice but nothing to write home about. Now for the negatives - and I'll try and keep this constructive: - The pool: it reminded me of a school pool. Just a bit shabby. - The sauna: was tiny and not really enticing - The food: was an absolute joke, to the point where I actually started laughing at one point. You're sat in what feels like a school dinner hall and the poor young waiters and waitresses, who were all very nice, friendly and polite, but didn't seem to know what was going on. It felt like they hadn't been trained properly. The quality of the actual food was a joke with 'steamed broccoli' that didn't appear to have seen the steam, the beef was well done when I'd asked for medium-rare. I didn't want to make a fuss so when asked how everything was after the meal, I just told the waitress that the service was excellent and the food not so.

I chose the pick me up facial and I have to say it was the best 25 minutes I have spent on myself this year. Relaxing, calming and time out for me. I would highly recommend

I cannot rate Champneys Tunbridge Wells highly enough! Every treatment I have had here has been first class. Exceptionally friendly and professional staff, the rooms are always spotlessly clean and the products they use smell amazing! 10/10

Really disappointed, I booked a treatment through treatwell and paid upfront, selecting times and dates available on the system. I then get a phone call to say, they aren't available and @treatwell don't have access to their system. Why use a service, if you actually fulfill it!. Extremely annoyed as I fly for my sisters wedding in the week and unable to rebook anywhere!

Champneys was suggested to me as a great gift idea for a work colleague. I went to their website searching for gift cards, I found them and began the process of ordering online. After having put in my details and having to set up a guest account a message popped up to say that in it couldn't be processed. I tried to ring the number given only to find they are only open 10-4. I tried the chat and again this wasn't open either. The following day I tried to phone only to wait ten minutes before someone answerd. The lady I spoke too was apologetic for having kept me waiting and did try to help me only for the phone to cut out. I tried the number again immediateonly only to wait for another four minutes before putting the phone down. I tried the online service again only for the expiry date on the card to glitch and could not be entered. At this point I gave up and bought a gift card very easily from Bannatynes. It's such a shame as first impressions count and in your case my first impression is of a company that really doesn't know what it's doing and has a complicated way of working.
