Lots of bars cafes and restaurants. Square is big and open spaces. Driving is pants, locals think the speed limit is 40 upwards and then they are all cutting you up and getting annoyed because I'm doing the right limit of 30. Needs more cameras

It is a lovely place, but some people ruin it with their petty arguments. Came for a bit of peace and quiet, 10 mins later 2 grown men start arguing, filthy foul language and would not stop at all. I got fed up and left the park. Acting like school kids, its pathetic. It's sad how some others find this behaviour entertaining. But each to their own. Love how beautiful and colourful this looks at night though

Great place to visit. It's not the biggest place, but it has plenty of grassy space/ benches to sit on and the fountains are decent for kids to paddle/ splash around in. I often run round the city centre and often incorporate a run round centenary square into the run. There are plenty of eateries around city park and events are often put on here. Would recommend a visit.

Nice place. Had been their during the Lit festival. In weekends it's a nice refreshing place. Pros: Mirror pool Church Cons: Only Nandoos and Starbucks nearby. More restaurants near will make this place more lively. During nights it's too dark and deserted.

A peaceful and beautiful place to sit and enjoy the mirror pool. There are shops, restraints, a couple of licenced houses, nearer by. Overall, a quiet and picturesque place to gather one's thoughts.
