Great service! Really knowledgeable staff in store who were very helpful. Man came to measure up when he was due and was very professional. Fitters came when due and did a great job. We are really happy with our new stair carpet and will confidently use Carpetright for our next carpet.

Carpets bought and fitted no problem but took nearly six months to get the right bed delivered. First bed delivery cancelled at short notice after getting rid of our bed left us without a bed. Given s loaner before all good. Second delivery of new bed basis two different colours. Eventually nearly six months later got the bed we ordered. We were compensated and left with loaner bed.

Helpful staff, good choice and even pulled up my details from 10 years ago which confirmed my measurements. Recommended a cheaper carpet that was more suitable. Estimator coming next week to confirm measurements.

Extremely helpful staff. Some scheduling issues (double booked one of the days), but 2 of them did come round to take the mattress up the stairs at no extra cost. It was a difficult one, too. Will be going back to get carpet for other rooms, when we can afford it.

Carpetright.... more like CarpetWRONG!!!!! I would give minus stars if it let me. I had my hall measured up for laminate flooring back in September with an estimated time frame of 2 weeks for fitting. I waited 4 weeks then called to see if there was any updates to be told there fitter “Wade” would be in touch in the next few days to arrange fitting. Few days passed. Another week passed. I called again to chase this up to be told the fitter was in the store at the weekend and he had 20 customers including myself that he needed to call and that I would definitely hear with a date. I received no call so I decided to visit the store to get some answers. The assistant I spoke to walked away to call the fitter and returned explaining he was going to arrange a new fitter! So clearly “Wade” had no intention of completing the work. I was given a definite date with another fitter for in 2 weeks to which the day before I tried to contact the store to confirm this was definitely going ahead as we were taking up the original carpet ourselves so would be moving furniture etc in preparation. The phone was ringing out or going to voicemail all day so was left hoping I would hear from the fitter in the morning with an expected time of arrival! I heard absolutely nothing so I tried to call the store again to which at the same time my mum and dad passed the store to see numerous staff members standing about not looking busy, not social distancing and one at his desk reading his newspaper while the phone was ringing! I finally got through to be told if I was given a date then it would be today and they didn’t have any dealings with the fitters. I insisted he find out as that really isn’t good enough especially after weeks of waiting and chasing. An hour and a quarter later I was called back to be told he had tried to phone the fitter but he wasn’t answering and that he had probably left his phone in the van but I was still on the list and that it would be definitely done at some point that day, by this point it was already lunchtime so I was very doubtful. By 4pm I called to cancel my order and demand a refund which after 3 weeks I managed to get although had to chase as it was refunded in 3 parts, part of which a £10 note out of a staff members pocket!! I originally paid my card and it was 1 transaction!! Screams dodgy as!!! Incompetent, rude, unhelpful staff!! Couldn’t run a booze up in a brewery. If you don’t want to be lied too, be fobbed off, spend money to have to fight for it back, have to wait over 2 months for the job you want doing for it to then not get done then save yourself the stress and go somewhere else that will provide you with the level of service you expect and deserve!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

I visited this shop at the weekend and bought a rug, member of staff was delightful. Unfortunately when I got home the colour was wrong more black than grey. The next day I returned the rug and was given a refund, this was done by a gentleman who told me they had other rugs so I had a look and bought another one which I thought was suitable but unfortunately when I got home the rug was more taupe than grey. I realised I would have to return it and was a little embarrassed. I have just been back to the store and was passed to the same gentleman who sold me the rug. I very politely said can I have a refund please as the rug wasn’t suitable as was the wrong colour. He said no I cannot have a refund as I has already had one on the previous rug, at first I thought he was joking but no he was serious. He said you knew what colour it was when you bought it, I pointed out it looked grey under the lights but more brown when I got home. I argued the point and he eventually said ok but you will have to wait as I am busy doing some spreadsheets. This man was so rude, I can honestly say I have never been spoken to like that before from a shop employee. I will never visit this store again I think this man should learn some basic manners.

Ordered a carpet from them and heard nothing but excuses for 3 weeks now. They claim a contract delivery time of 31 days but didn't give a contract just a piece of paper with a quote. Paid on the day but after a lot of arguments getting a refund now. Don't believe them about delivery dates or contracts, if they don't give you a contract they can't enforce anything. Buy what you need from somewhere else

Do not use! We have used carpet right for mattresses in the past and had no issues however recently had a horrendous experience ordering flooring. We ordered flooring and paid for it to be fitted in both our bathrooms. We were told it would be in within 7-10 days and they would contact us to arrange delivery. We heard nothing within 3 weeks so I called to chase this and was told they had no update for me and I had to wait despite previously being assured I would have been contacted before now. Further to this the gentleman I spoke to was rude and laughed over the phone when I queried this. I complained on the website and heard nothing from my complaint. A further 10 days later I chased this again to be told me flooring was in store but no one had called me. The member of staff this time was more helpful, apologised and arranged for our fitting. When the flooring was fitted it was not done to a high standard in one bathroom with a corner not being cut to fit and it did not reach to the bath. I again called and spoke to the deputy store manager, I sent photos of this over and he assured me he would contact the fitter and get back to me. He did not contact me again so 4 days later I yet again was left chasing them. I was eventually told the fitters would come back to look at the flooring and a date arranged. They did not turn up on that date nor did they contact me to explain. I have heard nothing since and have had to get a separate tradesmen in now to sort my flooring as due to personal circumstances I cannot keep chasing carpetright for weeks or months so have cut my losses and lost my money. Will never use again!
