2/ 5

A few doctors there are all right but generally not the best experience with this practice. Staff members sometimes quite rude over the phone and don't seem to care much... Multiple calls needed to get simple things done. Some doctors are disinterested in listening to a patient, almost bored and you can feel them just rushing you out the door. They are good at printing prescriptions and getting rid of you ASAP, though. Plus a nurse drawing my blood on two occassions didn't even bother to wear gloves or disinfect the skin beforehand... I'll leave it at that.

Very poor, reception has a bad attitude and won't even do the slightest task without moaning wants you to do everything online for her , as for the place waited over 2 years to get a lump seen (still not seen) all they seem worried about is repeat prescriptions to get their money from the government rather than actually providing care

If I could give 0 stars I honestly would as they dont even deserve 1 star. Left my son seriously ill and refused point blank to see him, to the point he ended up in the high dependency unit on the edge of needing ICU in glasgow. If you're looking for a surgery that is medically negligent and couldn't care less, this is the place to be!

Hi I am not one for calling doctors but I am very disappointed with the treatment or lack of it the receptionist could not have been sweeter but I waited all day for the doctor to call apparently it went to voicemail why they couldn’t just call on the mobile everybody else can get through so back to square one I will go to the local chemist for advice tomorrow sorry to be so negative but not feeling to good and it’s not the first time or the second come to think of it that I have felt worse after calling the doctors but I worry if I really do have an emergency what to do ?

2/ 5

This is the first negative review I have felt needed to be left. The reception team, nurse practitioner, physio and two of the Doctors are great which has earned back a star from what would have been none. However, the majority of my recent experiences have been disappointing if not utterly unhelpful or even outright confrontational. I have been a patient here since childhood but when the GP Partnership ended it has been one thing after another in a trail of horrendously poor service. I have submitted a formal complaint, another first, if new owners 2C Social Enterprise Group can turn things around I am more than happy to update my review. Whilst there are some good GPs at the practice you cannot get appointments with them and this is no use when you need urgent care. Ultimately if you can't get help and care when you need it then the GP Practice is not delivering. The E Consult Service particularly when all appointments were required to be booked this way is unworkable. Now it's just for urgent care it leaves a bitter taste as it is not fit for purpose continuously instructing you to call 111 or 999 unless you back track and claim to be healthy. The system is also not suitable for chronic illness or existing diagnosed conditions. The worst part is after 30-40 minutes of repeating your answers across multiple identical sections if it decides you're too ill to be seen at your practice none of this is saved unless (as above) you reduce your answers effectively saying there is nothing wrong. For those with chronic illness or diagnosed conditions needing regular support being unable to contact a GP who is familiar with your medical history isn't workable. The constant repetition of your medical history and different opinions from GPs on treatment, misreading or frankly not reading notes makes each encounter torturous. It can be worse when a GP is dismissive or doesn't understand your condition despite specialists making care recommendations. In short, if you have options to use another practice it is best to do so. Things may improve under new management but it won't happen overnight and I don't imagine the existing Doctors that are a big part of the problem will be going anywhere in the near future as they will be contracted to the practice.
