Cammo Estate edinburgh

A nice walk in the woods and in nearby fields. Aeroplane flying above Cammo tower against blue sky presents good photographic opportunity. Walks in the thick woods is calming and poetic. Good to spend a sunny afternoon with kids or dogs. Smell of treatment plant in the fields can be unpleasant.

Beautiful grounds mostly very well kept. Canal water could do with a bit of dredging maybe. Very peaceful place great for picnics or even just sitting reading.

Lovely place to walk around, explore and to take photographs. A little sad when you know the fuller story of the last family to own the estate as well. Very popular with dog walkers as well!

Great place to take your dog for a walk or to go yourself or with a partner or family. Very pleasant walk and can take as long a path or as short a path as you like can end up coming up the back of the old Cramond brig which is a nice place to stop for lunch or dinner depending on the time.

Great place for a walk. Took the kids who explored the ruins and looked at tadpoles in the canal. Lots of parking. Beautiful place.

Good place for a walk, not too muddy and a few inclines but nothing really hard. Could also be a good place to walk dogs. Quite scenic and interesting.

Sorry to admit it but, despite having been brought up in Edinburgh, this was my first visit to Cammo Estate but found it interesting and enjoyable. Certainly on the "visit again" check list.

I love this place when i was able to walk it im disabled now so cant go i miss it many happy childhood memories walking there with family and dog then coming in out of the cold for a lovely afternoon tea at home

So much history, innovation, rare trees, easy countryside walking.

100% now a regular fixture on the dog walks! Beautiful place.
