We rented a property with CPL for a year and a half ending last September and had no issues with them (late review!). They were always professional and responded in a reasonable time to any queries. After the first year, we asked to go month to month and didn't have any issues doing that (which I realize is also due to the landlord being reasonable/nice to deal with). Near the end, they always gave us sufficient notice when they wanted to visit and show the flat. When it came time to leave, the process was smooth and the deductions from our deposit was reasonable, especially in comparison with our previous rental estate agents. In summary: without a doubt the better of the two estate agents we've been with in Cambridge.

I stayed with CPL for 2.5 years from beginning of 2017 to the middle of 2019 and I'm fully satisfied with this agency. The contract opening fee was fair and modest compared to other agencies, the procedure of vacating the property went easy as well. I left some minor damage to the property, and deductions for cleaning etc. were reasonable. They always replied to any emails or requests of mine very quickly. I was always well-informed, as documentation and contracts were clear and all the information was provided to me in advance. The rent price was raised twice (after first year and second year), but not significantly and I believe this was proportional to inflation rates in UK due to Brexit. Many times they helped me out. For instance once I locked myself out and they gave me a ride from the agency office back to my property and opened the flat with a reserve key. When I wasn't sure about my final day of rent, they also agreed to prolong my stay on a rolling month-to-month contract and informed me when it was impossible to prolong the tenancy any longer, as they found a new tenant. Several times they hired contractors to help me out with repairs of the heater and kitchen tap - again, with no problems. Generally, my experience with CPL was great and I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Very satisfied with Angela that was my contact in the agency. They responded promptly with any issues we had, they were very helpful and polite in our exchanges. They have treated us fairly and overall it was a very positive experience which is why we stayed in our studio flat for so many years. If I ever need to rent I would certainly choose them! Happy renter, long term renter!

I've been with Cambridge Property Lettings for 6 years and they are excellent. Always responsive, perfectly efficient and friendly. I recommend them without hesitation to colleagues who go flat hunting. And it didn't hurt that their fees were significantly below those I encountered at competitors.

Having lived in a CPL-managed house for three years, I can happily say that they are one of the best property management companies in the business. Student/young professional living is rife with horror stories about awful landlords etc, but CPL (specifically, our wonderful property manager Rachael) have looked after us incredibly well throughout. No request has been too much, and I have always felt that the company fought our corner. The property was well maintained throughout our lengthy tenancy. All repairs were handled within a few days at most (urgent repairs always the same day - up to and including a fairly dramatic burst underground pipe rapidly eroding its way through the floor) and any deteriorating furniture/fittings rapidly replaced - all free of charge to us as tenants. Thank you Rachael for all you've done to support us - you're an absolute star.

Very impressive services, a considerable upgrade on other letting agents I have dealt with as a tenant. Courteous, helpful, very responsive and knowledgeable, I would thoroughly recommend based on my experience thus far!

I have the misfortune of living next door to a house "managed" by Cambridge Property Lettings. The pavement in front of the house and footpath to the side of the house is often blocked by bins and dumped rubbish, both by the tenants of the house and by people hired by Cambridge Property Lettings (cleaners, tradesmen). This rubbish only gets dealt with when the council finally sends someone to clean up their mess. It is a nightmare having a Cambridge Property Lettings house as a neighbour. I have tried contacting them about this and can never get through by phone and never have a response to my emails.

We have been very impressed with CPL. They've been very quick to respond to queries and have always sent contractors to deal with any issues really quickly. Everyone we've dealt with has been very polite and professional.
