*better than the corner shop. They make curries every so often and they have there own bakery.

Staff are really friendly and always happy to chat and give advice. Good selection of basics and has fresh bread and pastries on Saturdays. Occasional home cooked curry nights on Fridays as well. Seems rare to find a local post office these days (which also provides some banking services) locals hopefully know how lucky they are to have this and don’t take it for granted!

Lovely lady lovely service no problems at all

The Asian woman was really disrespectful, almost as if I was annoying her by giving them my business. She needs to learn how to treat customers with respect. I didn't think much of it the first time since I assumed she was having a bad day, but now it's the third time and I'm shocked that she works in the post office with that attitude. She doesn't have the legal authority to treat any customer that way.

The lady in the post office was appalling towards myself and charged way more than it was for a few items. The way she spoke to me I won’t be going in there again... she needs to learn some manners.

Very disappointing, particularly after reading the reviews. I went on line to check whether I could change some old notes and the post office information said I could. The lady serving said I couldn’t in an unpleasant manner. I went to another post office who immediately helped me and were very pleasant. Just the opposite in fact! I tried to phone Calverley Post Office several times but no-one answered. Will give it a swerve next time.
