Caledonian Road Methodist church known as ‘Cally’ has a grade two listed building on the corner of Market Road and Caledonian Road. This junction is a busy crossroads with traffic roaring by where many years ago cattle were driven up to the famous Caledonian Road Market. The fields have been replaced with new businesses and accommodation- most recently student halls of residence.
