This was my first visit as it looked pretty quiet inside, I thought I would treat myself to one of their lovely black Americanos. I also had an egg sandwich and a packet of kettle crisps. Seeing as though it was quite early in the afternoon, about 12.30pm, I was surprised there was not much of a selection in the cabinet at the counter. To be honest, the cafe was a little grubby looking/feeling but the lady who served me was lovely. I sat at the back and enjoyed my time, feeling quite relaxed. I noticed the toilet was out of order, an inconvenience to some but there are toilets in the nearby St Anne's centre. Will I go back? Probably, Cafe Nero makes the best coffee in my opinion. Be nice if they gave it a good freshen up inside to make it seem more inviting.

2/ 5

Used to love coming her for a nice drink and a relax but not now. All drink a served in takeaway cups even if staying in. Some tables are available inside but all chairs have been out away so you have to sit on the long chair against the wall even if you are 2 or 3 or more people with a small table. I've started going to Costa as they have it set up nice inside and use China cups. I always drink in to save using the plastic takeaway cups that can't be recycled. Nero felt cold this time. The staff are friendly and give a good service but think there is massive room for improvement to make it a welcoming place again. I'm not sure I'll be back any time soon. Such a shame. Hope they make changes for the better soon.
