Toronto, Sunday after peak lunch, very, very quiet, despite the beautiful view at the end of the shopping street. However, Cafe 2283 a most pleasant surprise. Consumed one of the best mushroom risottos ever, beautiful balance of flavour, succulence and perfectly cooked rice. Served with fresh parmesan, steamed spinach. A perfect luncheon dish. Staff beyond helpful in warding off the ravenous seagull Geoffrey. Indoor and outdoor seats.

Seemed very popular with the locals. Menu has a good range and the size of dishes were quite large. Definitely will go back during the holiday.

With a street full of food options we are glad we picked Cafe 2283. Very helpful staff accommodate to us having a pram. The food was incredible. And with a view of the lake just made the whole experience great.

Had a delicious lunch with fantastic service. My iced coffee was delicious along with all the food. Definitely worth eating at Cafe 2283. I loved the community books.

Great service, meals and coffee. These guys genuinely care about what they do and you can see it through the service. Pancakes and eggs are our favorite! Our go to Cafe in Toronto.

I have been here several times now with my 4yo niece and the team have always been friendly and accommodating of the 4yo requests include bringing out a very cute baby chino with 2 marshmallows, a hot chocolate with no marshmallows and the children's fish and chips meal with white sauce (aoli) instead of red sauce (tomato sauce). I forgot to take a pic of the meal before but there wasn't much left which is always a good sign. The adult meals are large serves and tasty too.

Amazing vegan food! The chef and all their team are really lovely and take the time to make you feel welcomed. I visited on a sunny day and it was really lovely to sit outside.

Was given a dirty fork. Mushrooms weren't cooked properly. Missing dukkah listed on menu. Not worth the money.

Lovely brunch in the sunshine at Toronto, poached eggs on turkish toast, mushrooms and avo..hubby added some krispy bacon. Coffee smooth and delicious.
