Very helpful staff

Wonderfully professional outfit with friendly service and reliable staff. The experienced management team have a wealth of experience that’s difficult to beat. Modern up to date dry warm storage and efficient transport department are essential qualities, this firm won’t let anyone down.

We first used CT in 2007 and thought the service was outstanding. We wanted to use them again in 2011 but we had very short notice and they didn't have the available dates, so we used another firm, what a disaster. Hundreds of pounds of damage. So when we moved again this year we contacted CT in good time, and the service was even better than we remembered it to be. CT and everyone we encountered are thoroughly professional, mindful that they are dealing with other people's possessions, and extremely efficient. Even when things go wrong (of course things go wrong) they handle the situation openly, fairly and quickly. There were a couple of minor breakages which they brought to our attention, and the claim was settled without fuss or problem. I have no hesitation in recommending CT, and will use them again for our next move, whenever that might be.

A very old name and a very good reputation for dealing with all sorts of removals "very good at dealing with different types of and sizes furniture and accessories eg :art works : and other things that need care and attention. Not just this country but abroad as well.

My experience with Cadogan and Tate has exceeded my expectations. Every single employee has been professional and kind. From the person who came home and quoted me, to the people handling emails and replying diligently and, most of all, the staff that packed our stuff in London and unpacked on the other side of the Atlantic. Everyone has been helpful and careful and all our belongings arrived within the time frame advised and in great conditions!

The entire service was great and efficient and staff were very helpful until we came across this challenge at the destination location: My parents have moved from Germany to Africa. The contract states that all easily to assemble goods will be assembled upon arrival again except the specialised ones. They have dropped off the goods and assembled the beds. There are still office desks, dining room table, book shelves, etc that need assembling and they are now claiming that these items need a specialist handyman which costs £115/hour. This is a complete rip off. We have chosen this company because of fact that they would assemble the items upon arrival. We didn't expect them to assemble the kitchen. We should have gone with the other company that didn't promise to assemble anything as it was more than 5K cheaper. Very disappointed and hence would not recommend.

We used Cadogan Tate to move furniture, paintings, china, glassware, clothing, etc from our flat in Paris to three addresses in the UK. At each point in the operation, Cadogan Tate employees were terrific— on time, very helpful, efficient, tidy, polite, careful— in short, superlative in every way. Very, very impressive. Thank you to all involved!

The whole move was stress free with every aspect well handled by Peter and his excellent team. They were incredibly efficient arriving on time, well prepared and got about to packing straight away. Having used other companies before we have always been involved in the packing either doing this alongside or ahead of a the move. Cadogan handled everything for a very reasonable price which taking into account what we had paid for material etc in the past, was not dissimilar. Consequently, we were able to leave them to it, returning to double check and then head to the new property where they put everything in the right rooms, unpacked glassware and were finished 2 hours early. Could not recommend highly enough.
