When the Haxby group took over this failing practice, I was told great things would happen by the manager. How right they were. Having not been to the doctors for a while, I was shocked to see triage had been introduced. Not feeling good Monday decided Tuesday to get up at 7 and drive to the practice for 8 hoping to get an appointment. My surprise when the receptionist told me you ring for an appointment now and the doctor judges wether you need to come in, to say I was fuming reading the pamphlet "we've been listening to you" absolute joke. Only due to the fact the receptionist realised there was a cancellation at 9.30 and the fact I was adamant. It was quite clear how relaxed and the lack of people within the surgery waiting. While I appreciate a number of appointments could be cut down by time wasters, it appeared to me that they've added an extra day to you trying to book an appointment. I just wonder if the practice is paid by time open or by the number of customers. A very poor way forward by an obviously under funded practice. When the books open at my local surgery reopen, I will be changing. It's a pity you can't give 0 stars.

I would not give this GP practice any stars if I cold help it...I will be changing very soon. Rude, ignorant receptionists, ridiculous phone appointments and talk down to patients.
