Sweet little place, cheap and cheerful with everything you need and Sallie was friendly when I arrived. Yes Google Maps is taking you to the right place! The only thing I’d suggest is a big sign on the opposite side of the road to help people unfamiliar with the areas but there is one that’s good enough if you’re going slow. Other than that it’s a great site and just what you need.

I was considering a one night stop here but have changed my mind. As a very experienced tent camper I can say £20 p/n for a basic site is expensive. For that price I would expect an on site shop, bar, play area, WiFi etc. From looking at the website I would have estimated a cost of £12 tops. That brings me to point 2. Never trust a site that has no prices listed. Some site owners check out how expensive your car and equipment looks then charge you what they think they can get away with.

A Basic Expensive Field At £20 a night this was one of the most expensive fields I have camped on.

2/ 5

A Basic Expensive Field At £20 a night this was one of the most expensive fields I have camped on. Although a good location to get to the park and ride into Bath the site had very little else less to offer. The toilets were not clean, badly maintained with a broken showers, sink taps and door locks. One fresh water tap which was a long walk from the top of the field. We moved to Cornwall at £23 a night with immaculate facilities and a swimming pool which left me thinking this owner is taking advantage of its customers and needs to think about feeding some of its profits back into the sites maintenance. A disappointed stay
