Contentious probate is a delicate minefield at the best of times, but for those seeking a satisfactory resolution from thousands of miles away it has the potential to become a nightmare. Lacking the obvious advantage of residing in the United Kingdom (I live in New Zealand) one is reliant on the professionalism of a firm to a much greater degree than might otherwise be the case.
