Heard the manager refuses to give food when paying by a signature CC , refuses to give a refund and wants to keep your FULL CREDIT CARD DETAILS "just in case ;-) ". Belittles and terrorises staff that make any kind of mistake. Reviewing for a friend.

Poor at best, cold food. Rude staff and the place was filthy even though there were no customers. I was made to feel that wanting to be served was a chore as the staff were too busy giggling behind the counter. Dont think I'll bother again as this is probably the worst Burger King I have ever been to.

Beyond the bad. Small, very dry burger, which sat there for a while probably, onion rings the same story. Cold and old thus very chewy. Sadly the best from the meal are the chips...

Ordered a bacon double cheese. The burger was cold, the bun rock hard and very dry. Returned it, gave me another that was just as cold and certainly as cold as the girl at the window because I complained the second burger was as cold as the first. I heard her moaning about me to someone in the kitchen but was told I'd get a fresh one which after all the inconvenience of having to return and then wait and wait, was worth it. Hot and tasty just as I remember Burger King used to be, not what it has become today and this isn't just this particular branch but many that I've visited over the last few years. Standards and quality have fallen, customer service is generally vile. I'd have to advise anyone that asks, to avoid this and many other branches of Burger King.

Am big fan of Burger King burgers but the fries suck, since they changed them many years ago. Not all BK franchises are equal. I personally have always received excellent service each time have been to this particular BK. The restaurant was clean, staff are helpful and most importantly the food well prepared and delivered promptly. It is by far the best run of the BK franchises in Sussex. If you want to see the other end of the scale try the BK restaurants at Hickstead and Fontwell. The Hickstead Burger King often has run out of supplies and Fontwell does not keep to the advertised opening hours, on one August Tuesday in 2021 it had not opened by 13:00. Luckily the KFC next door was open.
