Booked online from New Zealand. Expected problems as most reviews of ANY car rental places are negative and full of horror stories. However i was delighted with how easy and quick the whole process was. Staff were friendly and took time to explain everything. Car was clean and as expected.

Car was fine until I got back and they charged me for petrol when I filled the car up at the closest available petrol station. Later my fault I got a bus lane ticket, I’ve had this before once many years ago on a hire car so I paid for it, but budget get a nice penny from this as not only do you pay the £30 charge for the bus ticket but budget charge £30 for them “dealing with the fine” considering I’m the one paying it I fail to see what they dealt with other than sending me a letter. Lovely desk staff masking a company that likes to take money off you bit by bit. DO NOT USE

There are 3 counters but they are very slow. Been there 3 times and each time it takes ages for them to serve each customer, not just because of the lengthy contracts they have to show you and of cos the add-ons they try to sell you, but some staff are way too chatty. So when you also have a chatty customer, it's a match made in hell for the others waiting in the queue. Would suggest if you order online for a pick up at, say 11am, either start queuing at 1030am or assume you will be half an hour late. For the return, it's usually very quick and smooth, i.e. they don't try to rip you off - not sure if it's because I usually buy the complete insurance anyway. Car quality is decent and in good conditions.

The service was very quick and any issues was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Good service, except for the fact that I had to update their damage report before I hired the van, as it wasn't complete. If I hadn't been vigilant, I would've faced charges for damages made by a previous customer.

Wait 30 min to get your car and be told you can't because of address issues. No problem a few weeks ago with another major car hire company..... Total jobs worth.

Expensive, poor service and got a parking ticket after I'd returned the car. Shocking all round.
