Two weeks after renting the car we received a letter claiming that we damaged the car. On the provided photo the scratch is barely visible, but the car registration of a car parked next to it is very clear. Car was dropped off at 8AM, inspection took place almost two hours later so plenty of time for someone to scratch it while walking past. Apparently we were responsible for the car until midday next day, we paid as couldn't prove otherwise. Please read carefully their T&C and make plenty of photos if you choose them.

Booked a car with Budget for 2 days online. Once I arrived to pick the car up they said the new price is an extra £182. Absolutely no reasoning with them and staff have a horrible attitude. Use any other hire car company.

Good efficient service. I was incorrectly over-charged on returning the vehicle which was very competently rectified by Nick Welch on contacting them by phone subsequently. Great customer service Nick, keep it up!

I just rented a car for 5 hour, drive from london the bristol airport, i rent cars very very often, often with budget,today they lost a loyal Customer, as always rent I dont check the car when I take the cars, especially in this case that i was just a 4 hour rental, when I arrivw to bristol they charge me with all kind of damages and fees, even that the antenna was missing??? WTF?? Never ever will use this company again

Nick, Jo and André at Budget Bristol Airport are just great. Friendly, helpful and professional. (The airport signposting yo get to them from the terminal needs improving but that is not their fault !)
