I am on holiday in Belfast (heading for NZ & Aus this Fri) and felt really unwell last night. This morning I tried several surgeries to get an emergency appointment. The receptionist @ Bryston ST was very helpful, took my details and said a Dr would ring me back. He rang me about 1/2 he later and having listen to my symptoms have an appointment for later that morning. When I got their the receptionist were very efficient and Dr Green very professional. An excellent service and many thanks for the help and advice.

Absolutley useless surgery, you wait at least a month for an appoitment. I have scheduled time off work on two occasions and both times they have had to postpone the appointment. I have waited a year and a half now for a simple problem. I am going private as of today

i dont have any problem with bryson street surgery, unlike mr peters,i have to wait for an appointment to see my doctor in this practice. as far as the staff, both clerical, nursing and medical cannot be faulted in any way, rather they should be complemented on the tasks asked from them, from people who cannot get it through their thick stupid and ignorant heads just what is going on with the health service since 1979,that was when the rot set in because of the thatcherite government were put into office swearing on stacks of bibles that the health service would never be altered or changed in any way shape or form, and what happened after about six months? yes,you got it.both the health service and the coal mines were the first to be mutilated. look at the city hospital for god,s sake, answer me this one question please, who knows of a hospital that size close the emergency department, and the mortuary were both closed, and that is just for a start.so dont run down your local g.p. surgery for poor service, because they have to bear with the backflow from hospitals who cand help them because of cutbacks, adding more and more pressure on all g.p.'s and their staff.so go ahead mr philips and leave bryson street surgery and pay for your health care twice over.
