What was once a neglected patch of overgrown wasteland surrounding an abandoned mining works, has been revitalised and after much hard work and effort, now offers a beautiful little slice of fantastic Welsh countryside. The many walkways through have been cleared and large amounts of nuisance growth have been removed from the woodland, leaving great views and pleasant walks for everyone. There's well placed information boards at key stages and the main footpath has been re-established, along with focal points on the walk highlighting such features as; The Bluebell Field, The Orchard, The Old Oak and The Pond, to name but a few. This is an excellent example of how good a well maintained woodland can look, with the right care and attention. I'd definitely recommend a walk through any time.

Absolutely stunning walk. So peaceful. The trains go by which is a bit noisy for a quick second but then it's peaceful again. Lots of different birds that aren't afraid to come up close. Lots of history too!

Brynna Woods is a great place to go for walks and take your dog. Be mindful of other people taking their dogs but Brynna Woods never seems to be packed with walkers. Not suitable for disabled people.
