Long waiting times for appts, easily over 2 weeks if you want a doctor that isn't a locum or trainee

2/ 5

Long waiting times for appts, easily over 2 weeks if you want a doctor that isn't a locum or trainee, of which there are many. Over 2 weeks for bloods taken as well. Admin poor, will get your results and never call you, even if there's something wrong. Zero chance of referral, partners too tight with the purse strings even if you get to see a proper doctor. Sole saving grace is that it generally runs to schedule.

Absolutely lovely practice. Now that I moved and had to stop going there, I miss it so much, things there actually make sense with appointments! Just be prepared to wait ~15 after the appointed time, the only issue.

Very mixed. The receptionists can be very helpful, and the nurses. Have often felt rushed by the GPs

Very mixed. The receptionists can be very helpful, and the nurses. Have often felt rushed by the GPs, one or two of the doctors seem to really listen with care.

5/ 5

I've been a patient here for 4 years now. As a French expat it is not always easy to understand how the NHS and medical services are working in the UK but this medical practice is just brillant. The staff is lovely, very helpful and always here to give advice. Very easy to have appointment on same day. Dr Calvert is the best.

One of the best medical practices I've ever visited. Staff is always friendly and helpful, never had

5/ 5

One of the best medical practices I've ever visited. Staff is always friendly and helpful, never had to wait too long in there. Sometimes it's hard to book an appointment but considering the amount of patients they have, I can't really blame them. By far the best practice in the area.

I've been going here for years and I don't say this lightly but this practice is terrible. They care

1/ 5

I've been going here for years and I don't say this lightly but this practice is terrible. They care more about maintaining government statistics than they do about patient health. The only way to get an appointment is pretty much emergency at 8.30am ..unless you're prepared to wait 6-8 weeks for your ailment? The sense that you're navigating a flow chart is apparent in just about every appointment. I will say there are a few Dr's who are genuinely good at this practice like Dr Graham Mackenzie who is frankly amazing at his job. But the majority feel like patronizing tele-sales that border on sociopathic disinterest. I once had Dr Wands litterally say to me: 'well what do you want me to do about it?' with a sneer on his face when discussing a chronic back pain issue. More than a few times I feel I have recieved prejudice for my life choices while recieving treatment and I will consequently be looking for a new practice immediately. I suggest anyone reading this should do so also.
