What a great place - the family loved it. The museum part was very interesting with very interactive activities including lifting the ships old propeller! There is then the ship itself with various levels alto explore and some interesting smells to add to the authenticity. Finally you can go into the old dry dock and see the bottom of the vessel. All of this is wheelchair and pram accessable. One of the best attractions in Bristol.

We wanted in particular to visit the ' Being Brunel' exhibition which opened last year . We read everything and so Interesting. We were in there several hours...and there's lots more to visit and see regarding the SS Great Britain.. as we have been a few times before we devoted our time to doing what we especially wanted to do. As the ticket lasts one year we shall certainly go back and look at everything we want to look at again. Excellent!

A wonderful experience. Even on a boiling hot day, we persevered down into the dry-dock, and whilst melting, took in the wonder that is SS Great Britain. Highly recommended. As are all the experiences in and around the area. Staff are friendly and helpful. They appear to be happy in their work, and this is shown by the way they are with all the visitors. I hope that I shall return one day, as there is so much to see and do, I would like to spend more time there.....Excellent.

Amazing and full of history. We saw how the class system worked on the ship for staff and passengers, for their sleeping and eating. It was an amazing ship which you can walk round from the dry dock under the ship to the three level, upper middle and lower decks. Then there were museums around the site a cafe and gift shop. Plus your ticket gets you in for free another day within the year. To finish we saw two free shows of acrobatic and a very interesting talk by a volunteer .

So much history. There are people in costume acting their parts. At certain times of the year there are activities for children. Rooms on the ship are done out for authenticity, also kitchen, dining room and steerage. Fantastic museum. This is truly a great visit. Buy a ticket and return as many times as you like for a year

I was thoroughly impressed by this attraction! I thought it was going to be a boring tourist trap but the museum is laid out so well. You learn so much about the boat and it's history and it's all presented in an interesting and engaging way. I could have spent longer here to be honest! We barely got a chance to look at the other exhibits on the go. I would definitely come back here again if I were to visit Bristol again

Very interesting half day for children and adults. Much more to see that we expected. Well laid out exhibition. You can actually go under the ship and see the hull that is being carefully preserved. Good level of detail on the write ups. All inside the ship reconstructed. See how small the bunks were even in 1st class.

Such a wonderful museum, the tickets last 12 months meaning you can go back and explore at a later date. Some great little touches with the boarding cards, embossing your ticket and Flash, Bang Wallop where you can take photos of those you are with dressed in Victorian clothing. There are great things to do if you have kids in your group, hunting for different things on the ship. Really is a great way to spend an afternoon, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

Great day, fantastic ship was pleasantly surprised how much of the ship we were allowed to see, all the different sections of the ship with displays gave you a real feel of what it would of been like to be a passenger on board this vessel. An added bonus was being able to go below water and view the ship it was fascinating. The two museums were educational and very Informative. On arrival we were met by welcoming friendly staff, and this continue through out our time there. Well worth the money and time, a great experience for everyone.

A MUST if your visiting Bristol, so much detail, history & money has gone into this attraction. Staff & polite, friendly and approachable. Will definitely be back whenever we next come back to Bristol. Only downside was the ticket prices, £18 per adult. Seems a bit steep for me personally. However they do last for 1 year from purchase so you can visit as much as you like.
