Purely for reception staff (not the doctors) One of them certainly needs a word/training/introduced to people skills. Not a good look as the first impression of the practice. I'm not the only one who has been treated like dirt when going there. Please speak to them about how they talk/treat/ignore patients at times.

I registered in Broomhill practice since 2013 I appreciate the service and the care that I got from all the staff doctors and nurses Specially Sister Susan Stewart . I admire her patience and how she love her work She is working by heart, (The Angel of the practice). She is doing that for every one and I wish there are many of Sister Susan in the NHS.

The doctors and practice nurse are very good, although there isn't much continuity of service when you phone for an appointment. When I had glandular fever in 2016 I saw 3 different doctors in 2 weeks, and it took the third, a locum to diagnose me. The irony is that she was the best of the lot and I wished she was permanently there. With regards to reception staff, I agree with the other reviewers above; you are either ignored or spoken to as though you are causing an utter convenience to their day. My partner accompanied me to pick up a prescription recently and he was flabbergasted as to how long we were ignored and then treated. Perhaps this is why this practice has a savvy online booking system for appointments and electronic booking in service on arrival to the appointment, which I cannot rate enough! 2019: Since the review the practice have hired a lovely receptionist who brings the welcome and service up to par.

The reception at this particular Gp are not cooperating with patients. They always look very stressed and rude especially when they reply to any questions. It has happened to me several times on face to face visits to Go and by phone as well. Very poor manners. I hope they change their attitude and give more respect and attention to their patients. Patients needs to be treated with dignity and respect.
