Not to be confused with "the police". Oh no, and nor is it related in anyway to "the police" pop band. No. This is the British, (as apposed to? American, German, Irish or that other country inside the G.B. the one no one talk's about), Transport, i.e. train and rail network,. Police!!! These guys are highly trained, (!), Knowledge, friendly and helpful real police. They just specialises in doing a much needed job of policing the country's transportation systems. Keep up the good work fellas, and of course women

5/ 5

On Monday 3rd September I was refused support by TransPennine train guard. I have a spinal disability which means that under certain conditions such as a cold train I experience severe nerve pain, waist down numbness, incontinence, and unable to walk without I support. The guard claimed I need to give him 24 hour notice before he could provide a wheelchair. Lack of provision put me in danger of falling and hence jeopardised my safety. TransPennnine are not aware of the Equality Act. Two British Transport Police at Leeds station came to my rescue and saved the day even though its not there job - thanks for that.
