Two day move from a 3-bed semi to a 3-bed detached bungalow both within York. Mike Bird did the quotation and was very meticulous in ensuring that there was the right-sized vehicle and enough packing materials and crew to complete the move. Day 1; Neil led the team with Sean and Simon packing and part-loading. They worked hard and were polite, friendly and very helpful. Their calm manner helped enormously along with a good sense of humour. On day 2 Neil and Sean finished the packing and loading giving me enough time to clean the house for the new owners. They headed off and met me at the new property and were joined by 2 more crew, Rich and Pete. A whirlwind of unloading followed with all four men working and calmly and efficiently. Washing machine and tumble dryer were reinstalled and checked by Rich. It will take me a long time to unpack but so far nothing is amiss. Moving house is very stressful after 22 years in one house but the team from Britannia made the move itself almost a pleasure. I would recommend them to anyone contemplating a move. Thank you!

This removal firm is the best I have used. Care is taken to protect possessions by covering and handling. I was so impressed by the staff I have requested that they remove my belongings from their store into my new home. I highly recommend them nothing was too much trouble.

The guys that moved us were supurb. Due to a family emergency they had to move our furniture into our home without us being there. I can't praise them enough. They placed our goods thoughtfully and left us room to move around without having to move stuff. I have moved many times over the years but this by far is the best service I have experienced. Thank you guys you made this very easy
