We were so pleased that we chose this removal company. Despite difficulties with removal dates etc. we always felt valued as clients and the removal itself was professional, swift and impressively competent. Not one item was damaged or poorly treated and great care was taken throughout. The best thing, however, was the kindness we were shown by everyone involved. I can thoroughly recommend these guys.

You may have read my husband's review from 4 years ago. Even if you employ someone more than once Google doesn't allow you to write more than 1 review ( or at least he/I can't find a way), probably to stop multiple (fraudulent?) reviews. Well we had to move my 88 year old father from Lancashire to Shrewsbury so, of course, we contacted Britannia Anchor Removers in Manchester. Chris, the boss, treated me (whoops) like a long lost friend. Martin did the survey and Ellen handled all the arrangements, quotations, timings etc. Everything went as smoothly as last time though, I'm sorry, I didn't catch the names of the two men who did the heavy lifting. Read my husband's (Tony) previous review for even more detail. This company is the best in the business. (Doesn't my writing style resemble my husband's?)

Brilliant service! We issued Britannia Anchor removals last Friday for our house move. They were very professional and made the whole moving process less stressful. The guys who did our removals were friendly, great customer service and were cheerful. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing service from start to finish from Anchor. From the people who I initially spoke to, the gent who came round to provide a quote and the guys who turned up on the day we have not one bad thing to say about them. All professional and friendly and was by far the most thorough and competitive for the service we required.

Professional and courteous service throughout. Really liked that they loaded up most things the day before was moved so removal day was quicker and easier, especially as we were moving to a different town. They were mid priced, certainly not the most expensive but also not the cheapest. For the service we received though I'm glad we chose Anchor and not the cheaper quote.

Professional job done by the team. I was struggling to get annual leave for the pre-removal visit and they went above and beyond to organise a suitable time for me. The residential move was undertaken with care and the lads were friendly and efficient. I can't fault the service we received.

What a great service even though my move wasn't straightforward. A visit from Tony Brierley was easy and quick to assess what I needed in the way of removals. No pressure was put on me. I didn't have a moving date but that was no issue. Once I knew an approximate date I spoke to Jayne and Elle who booked me on the date I gave them. Unfortunately something cropped up with the property I was moving to and even on the Friday before, I wasn't sure if I would have the keys. On the Monday, Gavin and Malcolm came to pack up my belongings and took my stuff to their depot. Just after they left I was told that I couldn't move to my new property so contacted the office and told them. They arranged to store my stuff and the next day I got the keys so contacted them again. They were able to deliver two days later and all my belongings were in my 2nd floor flat within 3 hours - and there were some heavy boxes as well as furniture. Every request from office to quote to removals and delivery was met with a pleasant can do attituded and basically nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks to everyone at Anchor xx

Gav, Ant and Andy worked tirelessly to pack everything, move boxes down four flights of stairs and transport/unload the items at the new property all within three hours. Very impressive service- professional, well worth the extra money and made the moving day much less stressful knowing our belongings were in safe hands. Thank you for all your hard work! I would strongly recommend Anchor Removals t/a Britannia!

Anchor have been ultra helpful and professional for 2 moves (old house- rental house- new house) in every respect. From Martin who visited to give us a quote, Ellen in the office and our move team Tony and Gavin. I cannot praise them highly enough, always helpful, courteous and willing to go that extra mile to help their customer. A special call to Gavin and Tony, they are total professionals.
