My mum had excellent care in Adult Accident and Emergency (A&E) recently. Thank you to brilliant Doctor Olly, his team, Doctor Hannah, Amy, Nurse Alex, Heidi(?), and everyone involved in looking after her. You're all fantastic and I'm very grateful.

Had surgery yesterday for the first time n my life. The whole experience was dealt with kindness by everyone I came into contact with, from the porter to the surgeon. A big thankyou mention to Kay in recovery who thought I would sleep for a week. The hospital is well sign posted and is spotless.

I would have given 5 stars, but the parking is just non-existent. I do not know why these hospitals spend a fortune on updating equipment, building specialist departments, yet do absolutely nothing for there customers to park. But also there are contractors vehicles all over the place, jamming up car parks because they get here early.

4/ 5

I couldn't fault my admission, by taking me straight for cardiac surgery, after a five hour wait for an ambulance, but I felt that I was being bullied by the Doctors and Consultants on the ward, when they should have been giving me some understanding and support. In some cases I felt they were downright rude. Something also needs to be done about giving patients their medications for discharge quicker. I was a whole day using a Hospital bed, waiting for my medications for discharge. Surely that can't be right, when there is such a big bed shortage. However, I repeat that I couldn't fault the reception I received by the surgeons on my arrival. It couldn't have been better. Well done!
