I have ordered a redelivery from this PO for the same parcel 3 times now but it has still not turned up, I suspect the postman is deliberately not delivering it. They do deliver plenty of junk mail though! I am about to make a formal complaint.

I have been very impressed by the new people who are now running this post office, previously I had some bad experiences with the person who used to run the post office but since the new team took over the customer services and assistance level has been improved 100 times better than before. Very impressed! thanks :)

One star based on the service received when trying to do a postal passport application. The staff turned into immigration experts and advised not to send the application even though the advice leaflet was followed. Then demanded that I include P60s in the application... Why on earth? Ended up phoning HM Passport who confirmed everything was in order, and applied visa a red post box. Thanks royal mail. No confidence in the post office though.

Our local post office was closed so I was delighted to find Westbury open till 7pm and staff were incredibly friendly, chatty and helpful. Delighted to see a post office service continuing in this neighbouring town.

Visited the post office within the convenience store today, one counter position, very slow service, bags of mail dotted around the store, surely this isn’t secure? Only positive the member of staff was very friendly and I was able to do what I needed to do!

I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgable and this place has great opening hours. So much better than the old post office that closed down. The Canford News post office opened on December 7 2020 (according to The Henleaze and Westbury Voice) so check the dates on previous reviews as many are for the old post office.

I was concerned when I heard that the Post office had closed and moved into a convenience store (Costcutter on Canford Lane), but I have been very pleasantly surprised. Visiting at the busiest time of the year I was bracing myself for a long and miserable wait. I was wrong. There was a queue but it was being expertly managed. It disappeared quickly and the service was excellent. Well done to whoever now manages this and thank you.
