The hotel itself appears very nice, especially from outside. Great location. No problem with the staff. Horrible breakfast though, worse only in Cardiff Marriott. The elevators are slow and often busy. When we stayed in the hotel the elevator in the parking building wasn’t working, so we had to drag luggage’s and pram for 4 floors, not cool, since there was no notification about it, but the problem was managed in good way by the hotel staff!will stay again if ever in Bristol.

Lovely hotel with fantastic and Welcoming staff. Rooms are beautifully presented and extremely clean. We stayed on Xmas Eve and there were stockings filled with small toys for children hanging on room doors. Chocolate father Xmas’s and gold coins to take in reception. Lovely touches that added to a great Xmas feeling. Restaurant looked very festive with great food.

Better places in Bristol for the price - breakfast average (porridge was only available sweetened, for example - they only use ready mixed).. First room was ridiculously hot, though we were moved without issue. On the positive side, all the staff we met were great and the public areas are very nice.

Spent New Year's Eve with family. The rooms were ready upon our early arrival for all 3 families, thank you. Check in really easy. Drinks, pre theatre, served with impeccable service. Dinner in Miller and Carter absolutely fabulous, really well presented and we were all from aged 4 to 64 looked after so well by our waiter, again another thank you. I will be sending a private email to the Manager soon.

Very nice location, very comfortable rooms and excellent facilities. The breakfast was plentiful, good quality and well controlled. The hotel were very helpful over a mix up over the room and the staff were extremely polite and efficient. Parking was underneath the hotel and, whilst the entrance wasn’t immediately obvious, it was well organised and within easy reach of the lobby. I would stay here again.

A beautiful hotel in a central location in Bristol. Mya, one of the employees at the front desk of the hotel was extremely polite and helpful upon checking us into the hotel. On our second day there, Maria another employee at the front desk could not have been more polite and helpful either when we were checking out and needed to keep our luggage in the hotel for a few hours. We also found the bar staff to be very polite as were the cleaning staff, who made a point to say hello to you as you walked past. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were clean, comfortable and with great shower. However it was the politeness and professionalism of the staff that was the most impressive thing Overall it was the perfect stay

Hotel is good, beds are comfortable. Shower pressure is rubbish for people with long hair, I appreciate the water friendly control on the shower but you just spend twice as long getting the soap out, even in “non eco” mode. Similarly the soap / shampoo bottles are too small if there are two of you in the room. Breakfast is poor quality and has been ever since it stopped being run by the hotel. Very good location.
