You pay almost double for a festival ticket and if cancelled you get a normal one and no refund (yes, it is in the terms and conditions, that does not make it less unfair). They often cancel so it is just a huge waste of money.

As seems to be the case for a lot of reviewers I never got my flight(s), which I bought as a birthday present for my husband's 30th birthday! We tried and tried and tried again with no luck and despite having an issue with the booking process and my serial number they never fixed it so I had to do a lengthy email process whenever I wanted to rebook my flight (as by the time we had finished emailing what I wanted was gone, etc) - so I couldn't just keep conveniently booking my flight on the website. The woman just ignored this request for it to be sorted for me on several occasions. I accept the T&Cs stated no refunds after a year - but I am trying to get a refund for a £15 in flight photo I paid for and obviously never got. I have sent two emails about this and am just being ignored, to keep my money for a photo which was never taken adds some serious insult to injury and to not even say they wont do it outright is even ruder. I would avoid at all costs and research it - and maybe recommend trying Virgin. I wish I had!

I flew with Bristol Balloon on the last day of the balloon fiesta. It was very exciting despite being a little nervous before the flight. As we took off, I waved to the crowds below and everybody cheered...someone said " it's like being royalty". With pilot Steve we drifted low over the tree tops of Leigh woods, then up to 3000 feet I believe, we saw the fabulous sunset sunshine on the estuary. Steve pointed out places of local interest and we flew rather low over concord at Filton airport. We landed at Thornbury golf course and helped pack up the balloon. It is an experience of a lifetime and well worth the long wait and the cancellations due to bad weather. I would like to thank the pilot Steve, George and Terry the crew and all at Bristol Balloons for making this memorable.

Amazing experience from start to finish. The crew, Moira, Colin and Nick were so friendly and informative throughout. You won't be disappointed! Few failed attempts due to typical British weather! but guess that's ballooning !🎈, not a problem though as so easy to book alternative dates. Exceptional value and certainly a memorable experience for mine and my partners 50th birthdays with added bonus of champagne at the end of the flight! 🥂. Thank you so much for the amazing experience.

What an amazing experience from beginning to end. The staff were excellent, so happy to make our flight special. Very well organised and champers at the end was a fantastic touch. Moria, Colin and unfortunately didn't get the other gentleman's name were all 5 star! Totally recommend this company.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Bought as a Christmas present in 2018! Multiple flights booked and cancelled during 2019. Finding a flight to suit time and location was always a problem as they were so booked up and all the time your voucher time limit is being eroded away. Then 2020 came and it was clear there would be no flying. When nearly 2 years had gone by since I paid and had RECEIVED NOTHING, with restrictions meaning no chance of getting any child care to be able to take a flight, I asked for a refund. They must have had all the government help that every other business had but choose to keep their customers money too, so my requests fell on deaf ears. We were promised to be contacted when flying did resume but nothing came, it looks like flying has been going on this summer but I Have had NO COMMUNICATION. So my voucher has expired and I have lost my money. This company works by taking multiple bookings knowing full well many of them will never fly. That’s 100% profit for them for every voucher that runs out. The MD is very unhelpful and just quotes their terms at you and says he has to fair to his clients! Well I was a client - never I again! He is clearly very experienced at fobbing off disgruntled people who have paid and never get anything in return. Don’t know how sleeps at night! I would be ashamed to run a business like this. They must have dozens of people competing for every flight as they were constantly fully booked , unpredictable weather in the UK means loads of people are constantly waiting to fly and loosing time on their vouchers and eventually all their money. So if you are a gambler and happy to Chuck away £2-300 go for it. I would suggest AVOID AVOID AVOID
