Sadly I can't say much nice about most of the staff and doctors here. There is a nice lady on the reception line but there is also a very rude woman too. As far as the doctors/nurses go, Dr Apoyapoku (apologies if I spelt that wrong) and Dr Taiwo are wonderful! They care and listen and work things out with you properly. I never feel patronised or silenced like with other doctors. I just can't say the same for Dr Bode and others who have thankfully left. He is a very rude man, he seems to think womens health and mental health are a joke. If he doesn't then he has a very cold manner about the subjects. Most recently, I felt as though he was trying to scare me. I have HS and had a bad flare up. On a telephone consultation he was very rude and fantastical about what my health was like and actually told me scary medical things as if they were definitely happening to me. I went to the walk in center and waited for hours anxious to be told that he was wildly exaggerating and scaremongering me. I have anxiety and did NOT appreciate the run around when I could have been given antibiotics and scar cream. I had my official doctor changed finally last year after being with the surgery for nearly 4 years. I can't wait to leave the area and find a different surgery but I will miss the few lovely staff here.
