Delicious food. Big starter for myself and the main could have been a bit bigger but it was all about the flavour which was lovely! They had lots vegan options for my partner who has missed fine dining but now has an option !

Sunday lunch, 2 courses for £20! What an absolute bargain at this high quality restaurant. We had a drink in the relaxed bar before eating. One little thing impressed me ..... before the bar tender poured my wine, he checked to make sure the glass was sparkling clean! Only a small detail but if they care about the little things, then the big things are bound to be on point! We weren’t disappointed. Service relaxed and friendly. Food amazing and plentiful. This place did not disappoint. We will be returning with friends. Thank you.

Amazing restaurant. Lovely greeting on entry, great range of drinks including hand pulled beers. Lively atmosphere. Food was amazing. I had salmon starter and confit duck with spinach and it was fabulous, red hot, plentiful and very tasty. Definitely will be returning here

A gem in its location, style, service and food. Met friends for dinner and was not disappointed. Staff were attentive and food delicious. The building is beautiful with plenty of architecture to admire alongside being a riverside location. Music is not too loud for conversation, while providing enough in terms of atmosphere. We all complimented the environment and commented on the fact that we wished we had remained there longer after eating.

Fish soup was pleasing although I expected Traces of real fish rather than a bisque. Main meal of sirloin was tasty. Fries had pleasant animal fat taste but far too salty. Side veg was modest. Apple crumble was let's say rustic. Much too sweet with a tiny round of ice cream on too. Needed less sugar and more contrast such as custard or cream.Service was spot on.

On the day we visited, three of the staff were new that day. You could barely tell. The service was attentive and friendly and the food was excellent. As one example, I accidentally used my main fork for the starter but just kept it back for the main course. Someone spotted it, and quietly stepped in to swap it for a new one. No request needed and no fuss. Did I mention that the food was excellent?

Friendly, chatty staff who gave us space and time ( a reunion of over three years apart). They didn't oversell and recommended a good house white. Would have liked more tapas choice but post Pandemic a compact menu is totally understandable. We sat outside and were regularly checked on with just the right amount of attention. I will return for the 'three course' experience very soon. Welcome Back Brasserie Blanc!!

Top draw from the minute I walked in the door and greeted by front of house. Food wise started with the chicken liver parfait, extremely tasty, served with caramelized red onion marmalade...fantastic. Mains, as it was Sunday decided to choose from "the roasts", not disappointed. Went with the roast sirloin of pork, melt in your mouth (came with a small piece of crackling). Served with a giant Yorkshire pud, pulled port bon bon and black pudding, everything was delicious. Vegetables included kale, carrots, and roasted potatoes, everything prepared to perfection. Sorry to say did not have room for dessert.....next time. Also note that service was spectacular. Definitely be back.

Great setting, not far from the train station. Service great and food/drinks also really good including portion sizes of food. Not too many people in and well spaced out so felt covid safe. Given only 4 stars because the bathroom was a let down.
