B&Q Newcastle – Scotswood newcastle

Visited Scotswood Rd on Monday, usually I use the quick self service till.... NO. They are not there anymore, causing a bit chaos, I did not see any extra tills to assist customers and reduce waiting time. However staff did best and a woman A. Woodhall ( on badge) helped keep tills moving and customers orderly and ... Happy. Hope new system works Mrs A Gray Ponteland

Lights on display and priced at £20 get to the til it's £22. Then for staff to blame customers for moving the prices when it's up on a wall,then to say it's £22 I can leave it if I want. It's the point of having the right information for customers. Not the first time it has happened. I'm sure displaying the wrong price is against consumer rights.

One place for everything, great price wallpapers, good range of lighting :)

Easily the highest B&Q in the region, loads of choice. Only downside is the car park which is extremely busy, planned for maximum capacity with no thought of customer safety as they return to their cars with large items. Be careful!

Customer Service is a bit pants on the paint mixing desk from an older woman even if it is a brilliant concept. A smile or please and thank you cost nothing. I'd rather give my money to a more cheerful experience overall and avoid this branch of B&Q in the future.

Had to travel 48miles to get here but worth the visit

Don't believe website stock levels. Wasted journey Otherwise handy shop but expensive on some items
