We dealt with a lady called Cindy on the garden section whilst buying a shed. She was really personable, knowledgeable and ensured the product we purchased was right for us. Best help I have ever recieved in a BnQ store. Thank you Cindy. Would recommend going just for her service.

No contact less payments for such a big store! Screwfix and toolstation are much more competitive

Went into the Bolton store with my daughter to get a couple of decorating items needed and also to see what other different offers was on. Then we was followed absolutely everywhere all around the store by an ignorant Irish woman manager who made us feel really sick, because of being treated as though we was thieves or something. When I asked her why she was following us all of the time and was there a problem as we walk around the store looking at different things, she replied “erm, I can go where I want & I can stand where I want”. We have been to the store many times before and bought many things needed and never had a problem before with any of the staff. We later found out that she decided that she wanted to follow & spy on us everywhere because she likes doing that to people. If a manager of B&Q thinks it’s funny to follow people around the store like a child playing hide & seek & then making customers feel so uneasy, then she needs serious medical help. After reporting her because of her bad behaviour to the B&Q head office, they finally replied why she did it & that she does that now & again & that’s the end of the matter & goodbye.

Lovely big store with nearly everything you would need. Bathroom and kitchen displays. Large garden section. Can be a bit hard sometimes to find staff for help but when you do they are very friendly and helpful. Lots of tills so usually no big long boring queues. There is a good selection of things to choose from. Also has a trade section.

Quick visit for some bulbs, asked for assistance from a young gentleman and he seemed more than happy to help. Great service!

Good stocks, but very expensive. Seemed to have Covid arrangements sorted.

Lee in hardware was fantastic, he walked around with me helping me get the items I had been sent to collect. I was completely clueless, then he took me to see Tom in wood cutting who was also brilliant. Two great employees. Well done B&Q Bolton

High chance of catching covid here, personally i would have gone to warrington but i wasnt driving so i stayed in the car

Now that things are getting back to normal, it's good to get what you want easy and without queues.

The valspar desk seems to be stocked more than local B&Qs (Manchester). I would recommend calling ahead to see if they have the base and size of the paint you want. Staff are friendly and helpful.
