We had a lovely night's stay here with a meal at the Mayflower Brasserie. They gave us a free glass of champagne each to enjoy during the stay, which was a nice touch. The building is amazing, with wonderful original charm and character, creaky floorboards and all. We enjoyed the spa - there are 4 steam/sauna rooms, however one room wasn't operating. The meal at the Mayflower was lovely and flavourful - the portions looked small at first, but we were actually very full after wards! The accompanying bread and tarragon butter was delicious! The staff were excellent, we had a young trainee waiter who was very good, attentive and looked happy to be there! My only complaint is the room was on the small side and the pillows were AWFUL!! They were all hard and lumpy and could definitely do with replacing.

Honestly one of the best hotel experiences i've ever had. The location is beautiful, the spa and treatments were amazing. I think the main thing that really made this stay amazing, was how the staff all went above and beyond to make your stay amazing. They always went further than asked and it made staying here just so relaxing. The food and drinks were also amazing, good breakfast and amazing cocktails. Likely will go back again in the future.

Perfect in every way. We had the Lady Jane Suite which was tastefully decorated and full of character. We had breakfast in our suite, it was served in a picnic hamper and contained the most delicious goodies. The restaurants were amazing, smart, efficient, fabulous food and attentive, pleasant staff. We had two nights at the Boringdon as a 70th birthday present for me. The staff made me feel really special. The spa's facilities are top class and the therapists are the best. Plenty of loungers, day-beds etc available and plenty of parking too. Can't wait to return.
