I really like going here. I have had specs twice from here before, and my current 2 pairs rank in my all-time top 3 pairs, I love them. I went yesterday for a hearing and an eye test, both booked very easily on-line. I also did the Boots on-line hearing test before going for the physical test. I was able to schedule the 2 tests to follow on from each other. The people in this store are extremely welcoming, helpful, and friendly, as well as professional, of course. My hearing test was conducted by a student audiologist under supervision. It was quick, clear, and useful, as well as conducted in a very pleasant manner. My eye test was carried out to as high a standard as on previous visits, with the added bonus for me that I didn't need a new prescription, so didn't need new specs. No hint of up-selling or over-selling something I didn't need. So, I ended up not spending a penny, and they even cleaned both pairs of specs for me for free. I can't recommend them highly enough, and I will be going here again for certain both for eyes and ears.

I visited Boots opticians Leeds following the loss of a contact lens. I was on my way to a holiday in France, and only had 15 minutes to request a replacement. I had a recent prescription and ascertained they had my prescription in store. I was happy to pay for the replacement. They refused to supply without an eye test, although I had had one two weeks earlier and provided my optician's contract details to verify this. They refused. Their customer care and communication skills were very poor. They were rude and dismissive although I was clearly upset and distressed. On reaching my destination in France, I was supplied with a replacement lens free of charge. I would not recommend this opticians to anyone.

Boots Opticians Leeds Albion Street staff member called Yahya has the worst customer service , when you ask him questions he gets very rude and aggressive. I’m worried for Boots giving people like him a job.

Awful customer service from branch manager. I purchased glasses in January 2018..in March the frame cracked in one place. I didnt drop them or cause the crack im any way. Boots refused to replace the frame and manager insisted the break could only have been caused by me, in effect accusing me of lying. A month later a the fram cracked on the same place on the other side...clearly a manufacturing fault. I asked manager to remove me from their database yet I continue to receive junk mail from them in clear violation of recent personal data storage legislation

The staff there was nice but the service wasn't. I booked an appointment 3 months ago and I was told I didn't have an appointment, so I booked another one. I got told after I was late but my appointment was at 2:30pm. I had to wait 2 hours just for another appointment. The staff who served me was very nice though.

We were served by Courtney and she was absolutely amazing! Easiest glasses buying experience of my life. She helped pick out the perfect frames from listening to what I wanted and was patient and knowleable throughout. I could not be happier!

5/ 5

Went into the store as my glasses were loose and I wanted them tightened. Despite not having bought these glasses with Boots opticians, but instead an independent opticians local to where I live, Boots staff were more than happy to help. These glasses had been playing up and due to a manufacturing error (with Cocoa Mint) they unfortunately snapped as soon as the staff went to tighten them for me. Boots couldn't have provided better service here. They explained the situation clearly and told me my options including either sending them back to the manufacturers from my home store or getting a free replacement from Boots as a result of them being broken in store, which was really kind. As I was worried that there may be issues when sending them back to the manufacturers when at my home opticians, and that I would be without my glasses, I took them up on their kind offer. I was able to choose a similar pair of glasses up to the same value price from the same range. Since I was going home shortly and could only have an eye-test for my new glasses on the following morning they slotted me in for a last minute appointment. The optician was very through and explained a diagram of my eyes on screen for me. As I was in a rush they also managed to complete the appointment really efficiently time-wise for me. Finally, they also offered to give me my eye test for my new glasses for free. Couldn't be more happy with the service provided here and will be visiting this store again once back in Leeds. Will also be ordering contact lenses from my local store.

I will not be going back.. I have just been to this optician with my 6 year old son, and had to leave with out him been seen.. as he needed the toilet!. I asked if he could go to the toilet said he would have to hold it for 20 min in the treatment or not be seen. Not only had a just sat though rush hour traffic, I had to pay for a hour worth of parking for 5 min.. take the afternoon off work and he missed his appointment which he needed as he has been suffering from extremely bad headaches!. Now I have to do it all again.. they must have a toilet for them to use! And couldn’t let a 6 year old have a wee!!. We where customers not someone off the street Me and my son will not be returning!. And I will be making an official complaint!.
