Most tutors are great, supportive and really helpful, however, individual tutor like Elliot France in particular gives the institution a bad name.He had a particularly concerning attitudes towards people of color and the blacks.I have witnessed how he treats people of color and if you are black the worst and with contempt. In my view he hates for a reason only known to him,i guess. He covertly sidelines one when one comes looking for enrollment even if one has successfully passed the assessment.I saw him mistreat a friend of mine, sending him on a roller coaster. It pains to see a FRIEND SUFFER AT THE HAND OF A RACIST TUTOR.My friend narrated how he repeatedly sought to enroll in Access HE course since 2017 up to this year 2019 but he was turned down by this one Elliot France who happens to be in charge of Science department. The other day ,I saw the friend of mine, walk out of this college bitterly and completely feeling dejected.I approached the friend who was walking away in disappointment,a mask of worry written on his face from the reception area. The friend told me that he was told to come back for assessment to access course in September 2019.That is the way they reject/turn people of color/black away.It is an open secret. This should stop.It is either the tutor himself who is a racist or the institution is covertly or overtly unfriendly and racist in tandem with such a tutor. What has happened? What is happening?Where is the spirit of accountability, transparency, equality, fair treatment, diversity and equity? We demand answer urgently.

Be aware that some tutors over there are racists! We did a presentation as part of our English GCSE. As marks, I got zero like I don't know how to say/build a simple sentence in English. I don't advise to go there if you don't speak English as your first language! ______________________ I am writing this, in response to the college comment below. when I got zero, the new marking system they are referring to, wasn't implemented. It was 2 years ago and I failed my GCSE English that year because of the zero. Sue and Chloe know what I am talking about. I am happy the exam board requires to record every single presentation with a camcorder. If not, your tutors would have marked me down again the second year.
