To be perfectly honest I wasn’t sure this gym was for me, but I thought my wife would like it. However I was really not enjoying the experience of Pure Gym which is around the corner, so I thought I’d give them a months trial. I’M HOOKED. Tom and Karen put their heart and soul into this business, every session you do you feels like you’re getting a one to one coaching experience within a class. The classes are unique in many ways and you can’t help but admire their passion. But beware these classes will hurt, but you won’t regret it.

I’ve been a member of Body Development since 2014. I was highly recommended by a friend and I’ve benefited way more than I anticipated. I have learnt so much about health and fitness. I feel very lucky to have gained so much knowledge from the coaches, and continue to learn. I feel both physically and mentally stronger. I also have more energy and can be better at my job too which is physical and demanding. Body development provides a welcoming, supportive, fun, clean and well equipped space to train. It’s more than just a work out at this gym. Their care and expertise is so valuable!

5/ 5

Really knowledgeable owner/trainers who draw strands of training from a vast array of sports and sources into one formidable programme. Karen and Tom are uncompromising in their high standards and just brilliant at both training and teaching. Very much recommend.

I joined BD in 2016, it's one of the best choices I have made. Tom and Karen understood straight away when I told them my goals. I just didn't want to lose weight, get fit etc, I wanted to be strong! With a massive sections of classes, you really are spoilt for choice. Do yourself a favour and check out Bd, for awesome classes and a great community.

5/ 5

I've been going to Body Development for a number of years now and I've never commited to another gym for so long. As soon as we went into lockdown, Karen and Tom had put together online live training sessions that have meant I've been able to carry on with training at home. It's also been great to keep up the community feel of BD and stay in touch with other members - it's part of what makes BD so special.
