Fantastic service here. Can't recommend Professor Ray (ENT) enough. Highly knowledgeable, friendly, caring and a great communicator. He turned the situation from something I'd been quite worried about into a pleasant experience. He really took his time to explain the background and I found him very impressive. Obviously passionate about his job. Thankyou Professor Ray.

Good service.Had an xray and MRI Scan was in and out in one hour.Very polite staff.

DONT GO FROM NHS! Polite and helpful surgeons and staff during surgery. A leaflet with advice on aftercare would be helpful post surgery as I didnt feel I asked enough questions. If you're being referred through NHS make sure you have agreed the aftercare as immediately post surgery I was out of the door, there was no follow up and the surgeon prevented me from having a follow up by sending a letter to the hospital saying no follow up needed. He must think he's psychic because he didnt perform a scan or keep me for an hour to check on the condition of the vein as set out in the guidance from the hospital so how he could predict this I dont know! He also told me I could go back to work 2 days later, with pain and numbness I was still off work a month later :-(

This hospital and the care and service they give to you is absolutely first class. The nursing staff are absolutely fantastic. Friendly staff everywhere. The meals they provide, well.. WOW.. top hotel class.presentation and detail that goes into the food is fabulous. So tasty and gorgeous. I've just had a neck operation and the care I've received from the staff and my consultant surgeon Mr kamat was absolutely brilliant. Don't want to knock the nhs but WOW what a difference this hospital and care and staff make. Unbelievable. Thank you all very much.

Thank you to everyone at Thornbury for the care provided to me during my recent operation and before that during the several diagnostic visits and procedures. I felt involved and confident throughout. The back office team always kept me informed of 'what I was about to receive' and of the schedule of events (which always happened on time) to be followed. The Covid-19 testing regime is strict, easy to follow and welcome. On the day the medical team were attentive, made sure I was aware of any options regarding my treatment and, afterwards, during my stay, the care & kind attention of the nursing crew was top class and quickly connected me back to the real world. The facilities at Thornbury are very comfortable and it's easy to rest, recover and feel 'at home'. Thanks again.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff that 'accompanied' me throughout my recent visit for a very mundane and simple procedure. They couldn't do enough for me. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease about the whole thing and the excellent food and service just made it a very pleasant experience all round. Carry on the excellent work.

I am currently using a self pay package for a total hip replacement, rather than the NHS. I chose the monthly interest free payment method. My stay in hospital was well administered and I was treated extremely well. The hospital is located very close to my home and is easy to access and park for appointments unlike the city's main general hospital. Waiting times were minimal. My treatment is continuing but I am hoping for a good outcome.

Wonderful hospital, very professional staff but friendly and helpful in a 'casual' way - removed the "scary" by being informative. Part of pre-op was to book my food / drink requirement - coffee has never tasted so good ! Very attentive through Recovery and up to Discharge - like 5 star hotel service. In the nicest possible way I hope I don't need their services again - but if medical issues require, they would be top of my list for venue.

I must admit from being collected from the car park (very early in the morning) to being led away in the afternoon everything was extremely well organised. Everything was explained. The room was very clean and comfy.. even for only the few hrs I was there The staff were lovely and nothing was any trouble… also a great bacon butty
