Nice staff- charged an extra £12 for having long hair, I was not informed of this until after having my hair cut

An amazing salon, stylish with excellent service. Anneka does my hair, and knows exactly what she’s doing and how I like it. After trying so many other stylists in york I will never go back to anywhere else. Highly recommended - go give them a try and you will not be disappointed.

I booked a complete restyle from long to very short with colour for my daughter for her birthday. She had had a poor experience and cut at another York hairdresser so it was important to get this one right. Anneka, our stylist, listened carefully to what she wanted to achieve, took her time with my daughter and delivered a hairstyle and colour that had us both grinning from ear to ear for the whole birthday weekend. I have no doubt that this will now become my daughter's preferred hairdressers. Good service, relaxed and friendly environment. Thank you again, Anneka.

Excellent service... so friendly clean and polite hairdressers with a really fun atmosphere... loved my new hair style by Anneka she really took her time and transformed my look totally... I would reccomend them to everyone

Really friendly and attentive service, but if you have slightly wavy or curly hair they just don't know what they're doing. My blow-dry was really poor, hair was still really frizzy and hairdresser ended up using straighteners which isn't what I'm paying for and I could just do myself. I also got a colour which although it was fine, didn't turn out anywhere near the same colour as the sample but they didn't really know why. I do feel a bit robbed and will be looking for a new hairdresser.

Just had my hair coloured here and loved it! Naomi was amazing throughout my whole appointment, listening to exactly what I wanted, explaining everything as she went! Will 100% be coming back to top up highlights! :)

Cut to how I wanted it and styled how I wanted it too. Also a lot cheaper than I thought it would be anddd they could fit me in on a Sunday. What more could you want really?

Got my hair done with Edita, and I absolutely love it. Would definitely go again.

I normally dread having my hair cut as but had a good experience in the past with Blue so came back. Brilliant experience, love my new hair, I'll not leave it so long next time!
